Palmers Brewery - the original Old Brewery at Bridport in West Dorset is where beer is still made to traditional methods with the finest ingredients. One of the UK’s very best small independent brewers. A range of 5 beers that are made for today’s markets.
Charmouth Beach - is great for the family with loads of sand and safe swimming. You will find shops and cafe’s as well as beach shops. Plus beach huts are available to hire (including the ones featured in Broadchurch) and many families come to collect the famous Charmouth Fossils.
Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre - this Centre provides full information on fossils, fossil hunting, local coastal and marine wildlife. If you are lucky enough to find a fossil you will always find a helpful warden or volunteer who can help you identify it for you. The Centre also has interactive computers, hands on displays, marine tanks and a video microscope. Also there is a well stocked shop with books for all levels.
Dorset Nectar Cider - a selection of award winning traditional artisan ciders - from the vintage dry 'Old Harry Rock' to the heady sweetness of a Sweet Maiden cider, or a crisp medium dry 'Top o' the Hill' cider. All our delicious ciders are made using sun ripened cider apples grown right here at the West Dorset Cider Farm.
